ACS held their 2024 Annual General Meeting on November 21, 2024.   Three new Directors were elected to the ACS Board of Directors.  Mehmet Tulbek, representing the Sask. Food Industry Development Centre was elected to a two-year term taking over the three-year term previously held by Dan Prefontaine to end 2026.  Denver Johnson, representing the Sask. Bison Association, new to the ACS Board, was elected for a three-year term to expire in 2027.  George Lewko, representing Sask. Vegetable Growers Association, new to the ACS Board, was elected for a three-year term to expire in 2027.

Dan Prefontaine, ACS Chair, thanked exiting Board members, Emile Marquette, who represented Sask. Vegetable Growers Association on the ACS Board for six years and Gilbert Provencher, who represented Sask. Bison Association on the ACS Board for three years for all their dedication to the organization and the time they set aside to be actively involved with ACS.

Bryan Kosteroski, ACS Executive Director also thanked Dan Prefontaine, who represented the Sask. Food Industry Development Centre on the ACS Board for four years, with the last three years as Chair, for all his dedication and time spent throughout those years.
